Efsiad Gathered at Furnaceup2

The second Furnaceup event organized by Efsiad member Sarvion A.Ş. was held on February 27, 2025, at the Workinn Hotel located in Taysad. The seminar, which saw significant participation from Efsiad members and aluminum industry professionals, hosted over 150 registered delegates.

The opening speech of the event was delivered by Efsiad Vice President, Ms. Demet Erten. During the meeting, a plaque was presented to Ms. Beste Özdeşlik, Board Member of Sarvion A.Ş., in recognition of the company’s contributions to the industry.

Following the plaque ceremony, Ms. Beste Özdeşlik shared valuable insights with the participants about the event program, the industry’s vision, and emerging trends.

As part of the meeting, presentations were delivered on the following topics:

• Green Transformation: Induction Technology for Efficiency and Low Emissions,

• Regenerative Combustion Revisions in Melting Furnaces and Hydrogen Combustion,

• Current Trends in Vacuum Heat Treatment,

• Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism in Europe,

• Self-Recuperative Combustion Technologies in the Aluminum Industry.

The program, which started at 9:30 AM on February 27, concluded with a lunch at 1:30 PM. The Furnaceup2 event marked the highest attendance in Efsiad’s history, securing its place at the top of the association’s event records.
