We visited the facilities of our member Petrofer, a manufacturer of industrial oils, heat-treatment oils, and various industrial chemicals. The visit took place on 6 November 2025 with a total of 20 participants.
At the Petrofer facilities located in the İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone, we were welcomed by the Facility General Manager, Mr. Gökhan Ongun. Following Petrofer’s introductory presentation, Efsiad Chairwoman Ms. Beste Özdeşlik expressed her gratitude for their hospitality and for opening their doors to us. Commemorative gifts were exchanged between both parties.
Additionally, Alper Dayıoğlu, Board Member of İdeal Model and one of the participants, delivered an insightful presentation on his experiences in China, the advantages in the region, and the historical and current structure of the Chinese casting industry. After the presentation, the Petrofer production lines were toured.
