Efsiad Members Visit Facilities with High Import Activity

As the Association of Industrial Furnace Manufacturers and Business People, we have visited İBB İSTAÇ, Ereğli Demirçelik, İçdaş, and Çanakkale Seramik facilities since last year, and now we have also visited Karabük Demirçelik Facilities.

On October 3, 2023, we visited the pride of our country, Karabük Demirçelik Facilities, with our members. The visit, led by Efsiad Chairman of the Board Dr. Hasan Çep and attended by Efsiad Honorary President Mr. Mehmet Özdeşlik, included 48 participants.

During the visit, which was personally hosted by Karabük Demirçelik General Manager Mr. Necdet Utkanlar at the Training and Culture Center building, Deputy General Manager Mr. Ahmet Aycan and Rolling Mills Manager Mr. Sait Hadutoğlu accompanied us throughout the tour. In the introductory ceremonies held at the Karabük D.Ç Training and Culture Center, General Manager Mr. Necdet Utkanlar gave a hopeful but challenging speech on localization, emphasizing that many tasks can be accomplished with a culture of working together. Efsiad Vice Chairman of the Board Ms. Demet Erten also thanked General Manager Utkanlar and delivered an effective speech and presentation introducing the association. Following the speech, Efsiad Chairman of the Board Dr. Hasan Çep and our Honorary President Mr. Mehmet Özdeşlik presented plaques to Mr. Utkanlar in commemoration of the day. After a very successful technical tour, our visit concluded with a dinner in Amasra with our members.
