EFSIAD brought together sector stakeholders with the “SMC Türkiye Innovative Solutions Seminar.”
On April 2, 2026, we gathered at the SMC Türkiye headquarters with the participation of our members and industry stakeholders. The opening speeches of the seminar were jointly delivered by SMC Türkiye General Manager Mr. Turgay Uçar and EFSIAD Board Chairman Ms. Beste Özdeşlik. During the seminar, SMC Türkiye R&D Engineers introduced their new products and presented application examples, particularly focusing on solutions used in the industrial furnace sector.
On the other hand, EFSIAD Board Chairman Ms. Beste Özdeşlik shared application examples of various components used both in their own manufacturing processes and in industrial furnace manufacturing in general.
SMC Türkiye General Manager Mr. Turgay Uçar stated that SMC’s membership in EFSIAD would be beneficial for both organizations. Emphasizing that SMC operates in many industries with a product range of 17,000 different items, he also expressed his belief that new collaborations with EFSIAD in the Industrial Furnace Industry will soon emerge and wished the seminar to be fruitful.
Representing TÜDÖKSAD, Consultant Mr. Seyfi Değirmenci attended the seminar and delivered a comprehensive presentation on the past, present, and development process of the Turkish casting industry, highlighting prominent casting product groups and Türkiye’s position in the global casting industry. He also shared the sector’s expectations from the industrial furnace industry.
At the end of the highly interactive seminar, visitors were guided in groups through production lines, storage areas, and practical training facilities.
At the conclusion of the event, EFSIAD Board Chairman Ms. Beste Özdeşlik presented a commemorative plaque to SMC Türkiye General Manager Mr. Turgay Uçar in appreciation of opening SMC’s doors to EFSIAD.
