We Visited Unifrax Facilities in France

Under the leadership of Efsiad Chairwoman Ms. Beste Özdeşlik, we visited the Unifrax-Alkegen facilities, a member of Efsiad specializing in insulation materials manufacturing. The visit took place between July 1-3, 2025, with the participation of 22 of our members. On the first day, Unifrax executives delivered technical presentations tailored for our members. Following the presentations, participants toured the Unifrax production lines in groups. At the end of the factory tour, Ms. Beste Özdeşlik expressed her gratitude to Unifrax for their hospitality and presented gifts to the Unifrax executives in commemoration of the visit.

That evening, Unifrax hosted Efsiad members for a dinner in Lyon, providing a warm and engaging environment for further networking.

On the second day, the group traveled to Dijon to attend The A3TS Annual Conference. While in the Dijon region, members also visited a historic boutique wine workshop located in the renowned vineyards of the area. A delightful lunch was held at a restaurant nestled among the vineyards, creating a memorable experience for all participants. After lunch, the symposium was visited as planned.

On the third day, the group returned to Lyon for the return flight. Before departure, the group visited the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Lyon and later explored The Village Outlet in Lyon. With this final visit, the trip successfully concluded.
